The house is located on one of the most beautiful spots of the gulf of Mondello. From the panoramic window you can enjoy the most enchanting view of the bay with its blue sea and Monte Pellegrino which Goethe in his "Viaggio in Sicilia" describes "as the most beautiful promontory of this world". |

white sandy beach surrounded by the intense greenery of pine trees lies
just a few steps away. The charming village of Mondello with its many
shops, restaurants and ice cream parlour, it's only two minutes walking. |

The town of Palermo will require a few days to visit its fascinating historical centre (one of the biggest in Europe) the many churches, the palazzos and the picturesque markets. Your hostess will advise the garden’s passionate with most useful tips on some historical secret gardens which can be visited around Palermo. Segesta with its theatre and temple is only 40 Kms away. The Zingaro, few kms far from the property of IL GLICINE S.Vito, is one of the most beautiful natural coastal reserve and deserves a visit. Day-trips from Palermo can be arranged to visit Monreale and its mosaics of the Cathedral, Bagheria and its baroque villas, Cefalù with its famous Cathedral and its beautiful beach, Solunto and its ruins, Trapani, Erice, Agrigento, Mothia, Piazza Armerina. |

From Punta Raisi airport take the motorway to Palermo and than take take the exit Mondello (approximately after 10 km). Follow the road to Mondello. Once arrive in Mondello, please park close to the "piazza", the apartment IL GLICINE La Spiaggia is located in Via Torre, a few steps away from the piazza and from the characteristic Mondello's tower (picture on the right). Besides,
we let you know about availability with accommodation in other comfortable and
elegant downtown flats or villas, at the same prices. |

| Prices are in Euro, apply to ONE NIGHT but they differ by the number of people in the same group. The accomodation allows the exclusive use of all the apartment. A minimum stay of two nights is required. An advance of 20% should be paid at the reservation time. The balance will be paid at the arriving. Please read the letting Terms and Conditions prior to confirming your reservation. |
