With an enviable panoramic position on the bay of Mondello (the picture on the left is taken from the house), 15 minutes driving from downtown Palermo, the villa is set near by the “piazza del paese” and a few steps from the beach of the most well-known seaside of Palermo. The wisteria covered villa of IL GLICINE Mondello is surrounded by pines. The red tiles, the dark shutters and the terraces and porches show its Mediterranean character.

A luxuriant garden with quiet corners is at the guest’s disposal for reading or taking breakfast.

	The original design of the interior is tastefully complimented by owners elegant furnishing.

There is a choice of between two types of accommodations:

A) Independent villa with garden (up to 4 persons)
It’s composed by a very large and nicely furnished room, bathroom and cooking area (watch photos below). The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people (2 double bed). Minimum stay 4 nights. An advance of 20% should be paid at the reservation time. The balance will be paid at the arriving. Please read the letting Terms and Conditions prior to confirming your reservation.

The town of Palermo will require a few days to visit its fascinating historical centre (one of the biggest in Europe) the many churches, the palazzos and the picturesque markets.
Day-trips from Palermo can be arranged to visit Monreale, Segesta, Bagheria, Cefalù, Trapani, Erice, Agrigento, San Vito Lo Capo (see our property IL GLICINE S. Vito).
The airport of Palermo "Punta Raisi - Falcone Borsellino" is 20 km away.

We have two nice dogs in the garden and two cats in the house.
Palermo’s historic centre is 15 minutes away by car; The area is well served by public transportation; the airport is 20 km away.
French, English, and Spanish are spoken.
You can have, on request, the transfer to or from the airport (35 Euro).

From Punta Raisi airport take the motorway to Palermo and than take the exit Mondello (approximately after 10 km). Follow the road to Mondello. Once arrive in Mondello, please keep in touch with the owners (call them) or ask for via Saffo, where the Bed & Breakfast "Sul Golfo" IL GLICINE Mondello is located.
